What About Free Castings at Local Dentists' Offices?
We know that there are dentists' offices in town that do free handcastings. It's pretty hard for us to compete with their free castings and still make money. It's kind of like the local phone company trying to make money on landlines when everyone is moving to cell phones, right? Why would you pay Handcast Treasures for a casting that you could get free at a local dentist office? Here's why:
As we understand it, the free handcastings are somewhat limited, with strict hours set for hand casting appointments, restrictions on the age of the child (small babies only) whose hand is to be cast, and they don't do feet castings. Further, finishing work is apparently limited.
If you come to Handcast Treasures, you'll pay for your casting but you'll get much more than you get with the dental office freebies. Our appointments are flexible - we try to accommodate your schedule. We can do any age. A foot casting? We do them. A mother-father-child casting? No problem. Several adults together? Yes, we do those too. We take great pride in our finish work and will take the time necessary to make your casting beautiful.
